  They did a fantastic job installing a new double window where there had been only a wall. It's a little scary choosing a contractor to cut a roughly 6' x 6' hole (maybe larger, with the header) in the side of a new home , but North Carolina Exteriors made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process, from the salesperson to the supervisor to the guys doing the (very careful) work. They matched the color and look of our other windows, while supplying a superior product to the builder's windows. They were great at communicating when the window was expected to arrive, when they would be out to take measurements, etc. As promised, they installed the window so that it was finished from the exterior in a single day (they also changed a window in our bathroom from a fixed picture window to a roll-out casement window on the same day). The outside brick mold on both windows looks 100x better than our original windows, which was just laid on top of Hardiplank. It's very clean, and we've received compliments from neighbors. They also went out their way to match our trim on the interior. Overall, a fantastic job. (We chose to paint it ourselves--the salesperson suggested it, saying we could save some money--and there was just a tiny bit of confusion around whether the drywall would be finished and painted or just finished. But it only took us an hour or two to finish it up, so no problems there.) It looks beautiful, as if the window came with the house, only better. Everything was cleanly, carefully, and thoughtfully done. I would highly recommend this company.
